Make some Pumpkin Cinnamon Rolls You can be Happy About

So the summer is just about over and as the fall weather approaches I am thinking about pumpkin lattes and happiness.  And pumpkin muffins and whether I'm giving my writing the time and attention it deserves.  And pumpkin pie and how I'm going to make the changes I need to make in my life.

I'm sensing a fixation.

Hmmmm, well, regardless, its time to check in with ourselves. Where are we on our life journey? Are we happy with our lives as is? If not, what do we need to change to live our best life? Whether or not we give our life the attention it deserves, time marches on, so why not nourish ourselves physically, emotionally, spiritually, and intellectually. 

Personally, I have had some struggles with anxiety and depression these past few weeks and took some time to disconnect and re-evaluate. While I'm making some headway in understanding what I need, I can't say I've figured it all out. 

What I do know is this: I am proud of myself for creating exactly the kind of life I set out to experience. Is everything perfect now? Hell no! Will it ever be perfect? Tain't likely. BUT I am fairly certain I will be able to launch a successful writing career as well as stay healthy and energetic enough to flourish in the second half of my life. I just have to work on the fine tuning.

Speaking of, I've decided to take a little break from gluten and maybe even dairy for 10 days. My trainer sent this great recipe for a fall treat so I decided to reward myself for staying positive and working hard.

I did not make the glaze because I don't like fake sugar, but if its your thing, give it a whirl.  It twere goooooood without. 


Change is rarely comfortable, even if it is a good thing, so be kind to yourself.  Anything you can imagine, you can create, so stay positive, my friends, and keep on keeping on.
